Dorothy P. Poworoznek

Dorothy P. (O'Leary) Poworoznek, 80, formerly of 228 Merrimack St, died June 14, 2004 at a local health care facility.

She was born in Manchester on September 20, 1923, the daughter of Patrick and Eva (Lafond) O'Leary. She was educated in the local school system.

She was a longtime parishioner of St. Anne Church and had recently been a volunteer for The Caregivers Inc.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Paul P. Poworoznek in 1985. She was also pre-deceased by one son, Joseph Poworoznek.

Members of her family include two sons, Paul Poworoznek of Durham and Peter Poworoznek of Ledyard, CT; Three daughters, Patricia Khallouqi of Manchester, Helen Allaire of Syracuse, NY and Sandra Baker of Bangor, ME; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; Her son-in-law, Charles Allaire of Syracuse, NY; nephews and nieces.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Anne/St. Augustin Church on Friday June 18, 2004. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
