He was born in Franklin on February 23, 1947 to Clifton and Bertha (Hatfield) Miner.
He was raised and educated in Franklin. After graduating from high school, he served in the US Army as a member of the military police in Vietnam.
He lived in Florida for 17 years before moving to Hooksett.
Mr. Miner owned and operated Chestnut County Electronics in Hooksett for over 20 years.
IN HIS LIFE: The family includes his wife of 39 years, Marie J. (Bruneau) Miner of Hooksett; a son, Kenneth D. Miner and his wife, Angie, of Weare; a grandson, Riley Miner of Weare; two sisters, Mary Shea and her husband, Mike, and Jeanne Sanders and her husband, Randy, all of Newberry, FL; one aunt, and cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Bonnie Beatty.
A committal service was held Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
