Richard E. Fellows, PhD, 69, of New Boston, died February 20, 2017 at Catholic Medical Center after a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on August 13, 1947 to Ralph and Mary (Lyons) Fellows. He earned bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology from the University of New Hampshire and his doctorate from the University of Mississippi. During the Vietnam War he served in the U.S. Army.
Dr. Fellows was a psychologist with the State of New Hampshire Department of Corrections for many years.
The family includes his wife of 36 years, Honor (Mogey) Fellows of New Boston; two children, Abigail F. Couhie and her husband, Patrick, of Weare and Colin J. Fellows of New Boston; a brother, Ralph Fellows of Manchester; and cousins, nieces an nephews.
Calling hours were held on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester.
