Edna L. (Lemay) Boisvert, 75, of Easton died February 23, 2002 at Frisbee Memorial Hospital, Rochester after a sudden illness.
Born in Manchester on April 4, 1926, she was the daughter of John and Antonia (Auger) Lemay. She lived most of her life in Hooksett before moving to Easton in 1983.
Mrs. Boisvert worked as a part-time police officer "Matron" with the Hooksett Police Department for many years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for both the Police and Fire departments in Hooksett. She also served as supervisor of voting checklists in Hooksett for many years.She enjoyed knitting.
The family includes her husband of 59 years, Maurice E. Boisvert of Franklin; two daughters, Linda Hunt of Farmington and Elaine Walter of Hampton; two sons, Normand Boisvert of Easton and Robert R. Boisvert of Hampton; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were February 26, 2002 in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated February 27, 2002 in St. George Church, corner of Pine and Orange streets, Manchester. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Concord.
