Edna A. Yuszkus, 94, of Manchester, NH passed away on August 16, 2018 at Hanover Hill Nursing Home in Manchester surrounded by her loving family.
Edna was born in Lawrence, MA on December 7, 1923 the daughter of Walter and Jadwiga (Rogala) Zysk.
She was educated in the Lawrence school system. Prior to retirement, she spent her career as a receptionist. She had worked at the Lawrence Eagle Tribune and previously had worked at Western Electric for 10 years.
Edna loved learning, sewing, crafting, and was involved with the Red Hatters. Earlier in life, she had been active in the Polish National Church and had sung in the choir.
She was predeceased by her husband John Yuszkus in 1989, her son John W. Yuszkus, and granddaughter Jennifer Yuszkus.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hanover Hill Nursing Home for the wonderful care they provided Edna during her stay.
She leaves behind her daughter Jane Yuszkus and husband Jon Miller of Manchester; sons, Ronald J. Yuszkus of Bedford, MA and Kenneth S. Yuszkus and wife Donna of Windham; grandchildren Kerri Raso, Kristi Dacey, and Breyanne Yuskus; and many nieces and nephews.
A service was held on Sunday, August 19, 2018 in the chapel Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.
