Edward B. Flecchia

Edward B. Flecchia, 77, of Bedford, died June 21, 2006, at the Elliot Hospital after a period of declining health.

He was born in Norwood, MA, May 8, 1929, and was the son of John and Domenica (Rossetti) Flecchia. He graduated from Boston Technical High School, attended Lincoln Institute, and the Boston Architectural Club. He also took ICS plumbing correspondence courses. Ed had been in private practice as a consulting engineer since 1970 and retired in 2005.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He enjoyed working and his many friends.

Family members include his wife, Vivian (Patnode) Flecchia of Bedford, NH; three sons, Edward Flecchia of Henniker, NH, Mark Flecchia of Burlington, MA, and Christopher Flecchia of Manchester, NH; six grandchildren; a brother, John Flecchia of Mansfield, MA; a sister, Elsie Williams of Wheatridge, CO; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday June 27, 2006 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford.
