Edward J. Murphy

Edward J. Murphy, Sr., 67, of Manchester, died July 13, 2006 at the Elliot Hospital.

He was born in Hawthorne, NJ on November 25, 1938, the son of Edward J. and Mildred G. (Huebner) Murphy.

He served in the US Marine Corps.

Prior to his illness, he had worked many years as a real estate broker. Most recently, he had owned and operated EMB Best Mobile Home Brokers.

He was an active member and current treasurer of Club Mont Royal.

He was predeceased by a son, Edward J. Murphy Jr. in 2003.

Members of his family include his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Bonnie Murphy of Londonderry; two daughters, Kathleen Rondeau of Chelmsford, MA, and Maureen and husband Rick Kelley of Chelmsford, MA; daughter-in-law, Melinda Murphy of Chester, NH; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Rebecca, Nicholas, Kevin, Lauren, David, Bryan, and Patrick.

A memorial service was held in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St., on Tuesday July 18, 2006. Burial was in New Jersey at a later date.
