Edward M. Provost

Edward M. Provost, 93, of Manchester, died August 3, 2006, at a local health care facility, after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Manchester, September 1, 1912, and was the son of Anselm and Carmelia (Gerard) Provost.

He owned and operated Provost Market for many years.

Mr. Provost was a former member of St. Anne-St. Augustin Church.

He was married to Claire V. (Ledoux) Provost, who died in 2004.

Family members include six children, Muriel Simmons of Derry, Jeannine Miville of Auburn, Suzanne Auger of Goffstown, Claudette Talbot of Bradenton, FL, Edward Provost of Sarasota, FL, and Victoria Pero of Venice, FL; 20 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, August 7, 2006 at St. Ann-St. Augustin Church. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery
