Edwin P. Markowski

He was born in Roxbury, MA on May 2, 1922, the son of Paul and Josephine (Tujko) Markowski. He graduated Boston English High School and earned his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.

During WWII, he served in the US Army.

Prior to retirement, he had worked as a mechanical and design engineer with Barry Controls in Watertown, MA.

Edwin enjoyed gardening and was an avid painter. Above all else, he will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who most enjoyed spending time with his family.

Family members include his wife of 65 years Roberta (Dzengeleski) Markowski of Epping; 3 sons, Richard Markowski and wife Anne of Nashua, Edwin P. Markowski Jr. and wife Sandy of Benton, ME, Phil Markowski of Epping; 2 daughters, Cynthia Sprando and husband Robert of Westminster, MD, Christine Panis and husband Gene of Riverside, CA; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Markowski, Robert Markowski, Melissa Bickford, Katie Sprando, Jessica Sprando, Erin Mannarino, David Markowski, Evan Panis, Tyler McSwain and Evan McSwain; 3 great-randchildren.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, Manchester.
