Effie J. Sakorafas

Effie J. Sakorafas, 75, of Manchester, died December 11, 2006 at a local nursing care facility.

She was born in Manchester on November 25, 1931, and was the daughter of George and Despo (Toucholitis) Sakorafas. She had been a lifelong resident of Manchester.

Effie was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral. She was a graduate of Central High School class of 1949.. Effie had worked for several years for the State of NH division of Welfare in Manchester and later for the Veterans Hospital in Manchester.

She loved bingo, cards and trips to Foxwoods. She loved her nieces and nephews and was especially fond of her great great grand nephews.

Family members include; a sister, Sandra Fay, of Manchester; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; great grand nephews and nieces and two great great grand nephews.

A Funeral liturgy was conducted Friday December 15, 2006 in the Funeral Home.

Burial took place in Pine Grove Cemetery, Calef Rd. Manchester.
