Eileen A. Fielding

December 31, 1922 — October 3, 2006

Eileen A. (Bradley) Fielding, 83, of Manchester died October 3, 2006 at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

Born in Boston, MA on December 31, 1922, she was the daughter of Frederick and Emily (Albert) Bradley.

During World War II she served in the US Coast Guard and during the Korean War she served in the US Army.

She lived many years in Massachusetts in East Boston, Beverly and Winthrop. In Beverly, she was a member of the Daughters of Isabelle at Star of the Sea Parish and had been active in Girl Scouts. In Winthrop, she was a member of the PTA.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Joanne L. Dennison in 2003.

The family includes her husband of 62 years, Joseph F. Fielding of Manchester; five children, Mark Fielding and Paula Moore both of Manchester, Marcia Bates of Derry, Brian Fielding of East Greenwich, RI and Barbara Fielding of Manchester; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Tufts of Lynn, MA; a brother, Vincent Bradley of Chelsea, MA and many nieces and nephews.

IN HER LIFE: She was a loving mother and grandmother.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday October 6, 2006 at St. Pius X Church, corner of Candia Rd. and Sarto St., Manchester. A committal service followed in the chapel at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen (follow the signs of exit 17 on Rte. 93 north).

Memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
