Eileen A. McLaughlin

She was born in Coaldale, PA on September 1, 1924 to Bernard and Jennie (Keiper) Malarkey. She graduated from St. Mary High School in Coaldale, and from St. Joseph School of Nursing in Lancaster, PA. She lived in Manchester for many years

Mrs. McLaughlin was a registered nurse. She worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Washington, DC, Sacred Heart Hospital in Manchester, and the Manchester Health Department as a school nurse.

She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. B. Gill McLaughlin, who died in 1956.

The family includes four children, Karen Roy and her husband, Dennis, of Pembroke, Maureen Connors and her husband, Timothy, of Manchester, John B. McLaughlin and his fiancee, Jenny Fink, of Stratham and Bernard G. McLaughlin and his wife, Linda, of Rye; seven grandchildren, Kathryn, Emilee, Erin, Colleen, Jake, Mark and Sam.

The family would like to thank Mary Wainwright, Amelia Pearson and Jenny Fink for the loving care they provided to Eileen.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at St. Catherine Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford.
