Eileen M. (Richards) Pollock, 81, of Manchester, died May 6, 2005, at home surrounded by her children, and family.

She was born in Manchester on February 27, 1924, and was the daughter of Austin and Cora (Gagnon) Richards.

Eileen was the Valedictorian of the Class of 1942A at Manchester High School West. She was a parishioner of St. Raphael Church.

She was predeceased by her husband Angus Pollock in 1983, and a brother Francis J. Richards, in 1993.

For 43 years Eileen worked as Administrative Support Manager/Office of the Vice President Engineering Division, of Public Service, retiring in 1992.

She was a member of the Bedford Seniors Club and the South Main St. Seniors in Manchester. Eileen was a member of the New England Association of retired Employees of Northeast Utilities, and a volunteer ballot inspector for the City of Manchester.

Family members included 3 daughters; Gail LeVeille, of Manchester, Brenda Ashooh, of OH, Janice Purcell, of Fl; a son Keith Pollock, of Goffstown, 7grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Dorothy Hunt, and Evelyn Boisvert, both of Manchester; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday May 11, 2005 in St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker St. Manchester.

Burial was graveside in Pine Grove Cemetery 765 Brown Ave. Manchester.
