Eileen T. Statires

Eileen T. (O'Connor) Statires, 66, of Manchester died November 20, 2008 at her residence after a courageous eight-year battle with cancer.

She was born in County Tipperary, Ireland, on September 2, 1942, daughter of Michael and Margaret O'Connor. Eileen called NH home since 1960.

Eileen will be remembered for her devotion to her Catholic faith and to her family, as well as for her generous spirit, her willingness to help others in need, and her profound strength. She was very proud of her Irish heritage and enjoyed music, dancing, traveling, and shopping. She was most proud of her grandchildren and above all else loved spending time with her family.

Eileen is survived by her husband of 16 years, Nicholas "Chic" Statires of Manchester; her children, Cindy Turner and husband Eric of Nashua, Richard Cloutier of Valley Center, CA, Dennis Cloutier and wife Elise of Manchester, Christine Maguire and husband Alan of Manchester, and Colleen Cloutier of Bostic, NC; her grandchildren, Kyle, Keeley, Tyler, Zane and Connor. She is also survived by her big Irish family; her siblings, Bridget, Kathleen, Margaret, Michael, Patrick, Timothy, Dennis, Noreen, Theresa, Anne, Liam, and Bernadette; her many nephews, nieces, and cousins. And her step-children, Gregory Statires of Manchester and Lynn Kram of Pine, CO;

The Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Monday, November 24, 2008 in St. Pius X Church, corner of Candia Road and Sarto St., Manchester. Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Donations may be made in her memory to the Monastery of the Sisters of the Precious Blood, 700 Bridge St, Manchester, NH, 03104.
