Elaine Marie Gagnon, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished family memories. Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, on June 15, 1942, she spent her life nurturing her family and creating a warm, welcoming home for everyone she loved.
Elaine will be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering devotion to her family, and the quiet strength and grace with which she faced life’s challenges. She cherished every opportunity to bring her family together, especially for her festive Christmas Eve gatherings, where laughter filled the house and memories were made year after year.
Nothing brought her greater joy than supporting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, faithfully attending their dance recitals, sporting events, and milestones, always cheering them on with pride and love. A devoted fan of the Bruins and the Patriots, she rarely missed a game and loved sharing in the excitement of cheering on her favorite New England teams. Her legacy lives on through the family she cherished, the traditions she created, and the countless lives she touched with her love, generosity, and compassion.
She was the beloved wife of the late Paul E. Gagnon, with whom she shared many wonderful years of marriage. Elaine’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted mother to her four children, Paul A. (Claire) Gagnon, Donna M. Talbot, Scott R. (Charity) Gagnon, and Shawn M. (Lori) Gagnon.
Her love multiplied through the generations. She was the proud grandmother of Kendal (Joe) Davidson, Megan Mastantuono, Scott (Felicia) Gagnon Jr., Samantha Mastantuono, Kyle Talbot, Kara (Nick) Sullivan, Elise (Tyler) McDowell, Brianna Stacy, Travis Stacy and Chance Gagnon. Elaine was also blessed with the joy of being a great-grandmother to 12 cherished great-grandchildren Ayden, Lincoln, Kennedy, Grace, Maddie, Bella, Scotty, Leena, Quinn, Nora, Kai and Ryan; each of whom brought immense happiness to her later years. She is also survived by her dear brothers, Sonny (Patricia) Perreault and Richard (Sharon) Perreault, as well as many extended family members and friends.
In addition to her husband, Elaine was predeceased by her parents, Omar and Rita (Royer) Perreault; her sister, Constance Gagnon; and her son-in-law, David Talbot.
