Elaine R. Belliveau, 75, of Bedford, died at Catholic Medical Center, after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Manchester on June 5, 1943, the daughter of Severin and Rita (Simard) Pouliot. Elaine was educated in Manchester, a graduate of Central High School, and a lifelong resident of the Queen City. She worked as a cashier/customer services representative for Caldor for many years before retiring in 1999.
Elaine enjoyed time spent making crafts, playing games, mostly cribbage and baking. She was passionate about decorating for Halloween and Christmas, which was her favorite time of the year. She was very giving of herself and would help anyone in a time of need. Above all, her family was what was most important to her, and what brought her joy. Elaine will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She was predeceased by her husband of 28 years, Paul M. Belliveau in 2001.
She is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Willey and husband Derek of Concord, and Danielle Belliveau of Goffstown; two grandsons, Chase Oothoudt of Tilton and Ty Oothoudt of Concord; one sister, Jeannine (Pouliot) Denoncourt and husband Roger of Manchester; and two brothers, Leonard Pouliot and family, and Edmond Pouliot and wife Marion and family. She leaves behind beloved nieces Michelle (Denoncourt) Horne, her husband Dale and family; Nicolle (Denoncourt) Pinault, her husband John and family; and many other nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford. Committal prayers followed in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Labre Indian Catholic School, Mission Rd., Ashland, MT 59003, in her name.
