Eleanor M. Eberhardt, 92, of Chichester, died December 15, 202, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Lawrence, Ma on June 30, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Phyllis (Pazus) Rembis. She was a graduate of Methuen High School and worked as a bookkeeper at Lakeside Mobile Home Park during for many years while raising her family..
Eleanor loved spending time with her family. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. She enjoyed traveling, especially on family vacations. She also enjoyed shopping, and spending time at her “happy place”, the family lake house. She was a true warrior, having been a 40 year cancer survivor. Eleanor was a very fun, humorous, talented person. She was kind and thoughtful and always cared for others and their happiness and well being. Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
Eleanor was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Walter J. Eberhardt, in 2014.
Surviving family members include two daughters, Cherie Eberhardt Duggan and her husband, Michael, of Jacksonville, FL and Lori Eberhardt Rahill and her husband, John, of Chichester; two grandchildren, Ashley Salvatore and her husband Ronald and Max Rahill and wife Jenna three great grandchildren, Olivia and Emma Salvatore and Chloe Rahill and three great grand puppies, Dakota, Hank and Stella. She was also predeceased by both parents; and one brother, Ronald Rembis.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be from 4pm to 7pm on Thursday, December 29th at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester, NH 03104. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Friday, December 30th at St. Catherine of Siena Church, corner of Hemlock and Webster St., Manchester NH 03104. Burial will be private, to family only, in St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org)
