Eleanor I. Kratochvil

Eleanor I. (Hare) Kratochvil, 62, of Manchester died November 23, 2003 at her residence after a sudden illness.

Born in Ivyland, PA on November 28, 1940, she was the daughter of George C. and Helen I. (Tuckerman) Hare. She grew up in Hatborough, PA and graduated from Hatborough High School. She then served in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1959.

She lived many years in New Hampshire, and several years in Marana, AZ before recently returning to Manchester to live with her daughter, Cynthia Wood.

Mrs. Kratochvil worked for New England Telephone Company for many years.

She was predeceased by a son, Joseph M. Nevera in 2002.

The family includes two daughters, Cynthia A. Wood of Manchester and April D. Auprey of Concord; five grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held Wednesday November 26, 2003 in the funeral home. The Rev. William Donoghue of Brookside Congregational Church officiated. Burial followed in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
