She was born in Philadelphia, PA, on July 7, 1924, the daughter of Contantine and Josephine (Jacitas) Kilczewski. She had resided in the Philadelphia area for most of her life and was educated in the Philadelphia school system.
During WWII, she served her country as a draftswoman. Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a tax examiner by the Internal Revenue Service.
Eleanor was an active parishioner of St. Adalbert Church and volunteered as a Senior Center organizer.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward Leonarczyk in 1982.
Her loss is mourned by two sons, Edward and his wife Betty Leonarczyk of Hernando, FL, Paul and his wife Terri Leonarczyk of Manchester, NH; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces.
The funeral service was on Friday November 30, 2007 in St. Adalbert Church, Philadelphia. Burial followed in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, PA.
