Elizabeth "Betty-Boop" Butler

Elizabeth J. "Betty Boop" (McAuley) (Ouellette) Butler, 92, of Manchester, died February 20, 2018 in Andover, MA after a brief illness.

She was born in Malden, MA on December 3, 1925 to John and Ina (Killam) McAuley. She lived in Salem, MA for many years before moving to Manchester in the 1970's.

Betty worked at Papa Gino's in Manchester and was a security guard at Hadco Printed Circuits in Derry. She enjoyed dancing and coloring.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Manchester and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Derry.

She was predeceased by her son, Carl Ouellette; two great grandsons, Erik and Sam and six siblings.

The family includes four children, John Ouellette of Beverly, MA, Gene Ouellette and his wife, Paula, of Methuen, MA, Doris Pomroy of Groveland, MA and Doreen Ouellette of Derry; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; her former husband, Don Butler of Manchester; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral ceremony was held on Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 105 Windsong Ave., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake St., Peabody, MA.
