Elizabeth "Betty" (Tripple) Gosselin, 80, of Nashua, NH, formerly of Hudson, NH, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.

Betty was the beloved wife for 49 years of the late Marcel "Mike" Gosselin who died in 2002.

Born in Dedham, MA on October 5, 1932, she was the daughter of the late John Tripple and Williamina Thomas Saunders and step-daughter of the late Frank Saunders.

Prior to her retirement she was employed by Digital Corporation as a work coordinator in the records department.

Betty was a member of the Hudson VFW Post 5791. She was also a past president of both the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hudson VFW and the Ladies Auxiliary state chapter of the VFW. She enjoyed bingo and crossword puzzles.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Jacqueline of Manchester, NH, Marc and Cheryl of Dracut, MA and James and Linda of Des Moines, IA; son, David and his fiancee, Kathy Duggan of Windham, NH; grandchildren, Marc Jr. and his wife, Katie, of Allentown, PA, Jon and his wife, Caryn. of Dracut, MA, Tiffany of Manchester, NH, Angela and her fiance, Dennis Fields of Des Moines, IA, James of Des Moines, IA, Joshua of Windham, NH and Jodi of Salem, NH; great granddaughters, Emma Kate of Allentown, PA and Peyton Marie of Dracut, MA. She was also the sister of the late James Tripple, the late Mary Christine Stanford and Joan Tripple of Lowell, MA.

Betty was raised in Lowell, MA by the late Ernest and Gertrude Morneau and is survived by their children Jacqueline and Alfred Thibodeau of Ormond Beach, FL, Joanne and Paul Bastien of Lowell, MA, Charles of Nashua, NH, Patricia Wood of South Carolina, and the late Celeste Morneau. She is also survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Nelson and Claudette Gosselin, sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Gosselin and Doris Gosselin and brother-in-law, Maurice Normandin; and many nieces and nephews.

It being her wishes, committal services were private.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester, NH, assisted the family with arrangements.
