Elizabeth G. Sell

d. February 10, 2022

Elizabeth G. Rolfe "Betty" Sell, 79, of Auburn died peacefully February 10, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Born in Manchester on February 17, 1942, she was the daughter of Morris and Mary (White) Rolfe. She attended Auburn Village School and graduated from Manchester Central High School.

Betty was an incredible woman, wife, and mother. Like many home makers whose children started growing up she tried many jobs. It wasn't till she turned her focus to sewing, that she found her passion as a quilt maker. She loved all aspects of it, she experienced exuberant joy while selecting just the right design, pattern and material color that achieved a patchwork worthy of expressing her dedication to life. There is no question that if you received a quilt of her making, it is saturated with the essence of her beautiful loving heart.

As the family matriarch she was the force that held us firmly together, always willing to help and lift us up. She will be remembered for her love of family and cherished time spent with her husband, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family members include her husband of 64 years, Richard H. Sell of Auburn; her daughters, Darlene Jutras and husband Jason of Allenstown, Bettyjo King and husband Jon of Derry, Sandra Sell and partner Shawnaree Perez of Little Rock, AR, Julie Rossen and husband Michael of Hooksett; her grandchildren, Jacob, Madison, Justin and fiancé Joanna, Cristofer and wife Ashley, Cortney, Matthew and wife Lacey; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Juliana and Brantley; siblings, Morris Rolfe and John H. Rolfe and wife MaryAnn; many nephews, nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by siblings, Richard Rolfe, Elaine Fuller and Florence Brooks.
