Elizabeth Y. Stewart

   Elizabeth (Yule) Stewart, 95, of Hooksett, sadly passed away on December 8, 2023 after a long and full life.

   Elizabeth was born in Aberdeen, Scotland to Albert and Jessie (Watt) Yule.  She loved her Scottish heritage and cultural events.  She was a proud member of the Scottish Daughter’s of Scotia and formed many wonderful lifelong friendships there.

   Elizabeth had been such an active person throughout her life.  Those who knew her will remember her as loving and generous and always eager to help.

   She was a dedicated volunteer for the Elliot Associates for many years.  She was also an expert seamstress and her love of sewing continued throughout her life.

   Liz was active in her church and also enjoyed many years as a member of the Hooksettites.  She was well loved and had many friends in her community.  She will be greatly missed.

   She was predeceased by her parents of Scotland; her beloved husband, Alexander “Sandy” Stewart of Hooksett and her son, David Stewart of Auburn.

   Liz is survived by her daughter-in-law, Deborah Stewart of Auburn; her grandson, Matthew Stewart of Laconia; her granddaughter, Jennifer Shaw and her husband, Glenn, of Auburn; and her great grandsons, Jesse and Kyle Shaw of Auburn.

   Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

   Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester is assisting the family with arrangements.
