Elphege J. Beaudry, 87, of Manchester, died September 11, 2006, at Harborside Healthcare- Northwood, after a long illness.
He was born in Manchester on January 12, 1919, and was the son of Alphonse and Alice (Bergeron) Beaudry. He was educated locally and had been a lifelong member of the former St. Theresa parish.
Mr. Beaudry had worked in the shoe industry all of his working life retiring several years ago from the former Myrna Shoe Company.
He was a quiet man that loved his vegetable garden, traveling and hiking in the White Mountains with his wife and family.
Family members include his wife of 65 years, Gilberte (Laroche) Beaudry, of Manchester; 4 daughters, Ruth Beaudry, of Manchester, Sylvia Spagna, of VA, Denise Buxton, Louise Wheldon, both of Weare, Lucy Ann Beaudry, of ME; 3 sons, Julien Beaudry, of PA, Francis Beaudry, of MA, Jean Beaudry, of Goffstown; 19 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Rita Hovanesian, of CN; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in Lambert Funeral Home and Crematory, 1799 Elm St. corner of North, Manchester.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00am in Blessed Sacrament Parish, 14 Elm St. Manchester.
Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Goffstown Rd. Manchester.
