Elsie (Orlando) Parian, 92, formerly of Manchester, died December 3, 2016 at Colonial Poplin Nursing & Rehabilitation in Fremont after a period of declining health.
She was born in Garfield, NJ on July 16, 1924 to Rudolph and Theresa (Orlando) Orlando. She grew up in Garfield and lived in Clifton, NJ for many years before moving to Manchester in 2002.
Elsie worked for Lockheed Martin in Little Falls, NJ for over 20 years.
She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Joseph Parian in 2000 and by a son, Joseph Parian Jr. in 2002.
The family includes a son, Richard Parian and his wife, Dale, of Auburn; a daughter-in-law, Elaine Parian of Franklin Lakes, NJ; six grandchildren, Brian Parian, Tara Parian, Kariel Parian, Joseph Parian, Brianna Parian and Alyssa Parian; two great grandsons, Harrison Parian and Andrew Parian; a sister, Violet Stevens of West Virginia; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
A committal service was held on December 19, 2016 at Calvary Cemetery, 58 McLean Blvd., Patterson, NJ.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
