Emile A. Dube

Bedford, NH

   Emile A. Dube, 90, of Bedford, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

   Emile was born to Ephrem and Doria (Champagne) Dube on January 5, 1934 in Manchester, one of 14 children.   

   Prior to his retirement, Emile held his own construction business where he was a talented carpenter who took pride in remodeling homes.  

   He was a military veteran who served in the U.S. Army. 

   Emile was a kind-hearted, loving and patient man.   He was an avid Red Sox fan and loved spending time with his family.  In his spare time he enjoyed watching baseball and basketball, doing puzzles and framing them, and communicating with family using Skype.

   He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Doris (Labrie) Dube in 2018.  They married on May 28, 1955.  Emile is also predeceased by his parents; his son, Carl Dube and 11 of his siblings.

   Emile is survived by his two children, Debra (Dube) Cotnoir and her husband, Peter Cotnoir, and David Dube and his wife, Claudette (Rheault) Dube; five grandchildren, Craig Dube and his wife, Kristina (Adams) Dube, Cory Dube and his wife, Jessica (Bastien) Dube, Wesley Cotnoir and his wife, Jacquelyn (Dussault) Cotnoir, Justine Dube and Michelle (Dube) Harris and her husband, Mathew Harris; eight great grandchildren, Owen Dube, Christopher Cotnoir, Emilie Cotnoir, Caiden Dube, Kyson Dube, Adalynn Dube, Malachi Emile Dube and Maggie-Maye Dube; two sisters, Grace Martel and Constance Lemieux and many nieces and nephews.

   SERVICES: Calling hours are Sunday (2/25) from 12 to 3 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday (2/26) at 10 a.m. at St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester.  Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
