Born in Springfield, MA on October 18, 1949, he was the son of Morris J. and Theresa F. Corgnati.
He attended Springfield public schools and graduated from Springfield Technical Community College. He also served in the Army National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1976.
Mr. Corgnati worked as a technician at Verizon for over 20 years.
As a public service, he spent much of his time fixing brail typewriters. He was an avid bowler and was involved in many bowling leagues throughout the city.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Elizabeth (Syriac) Corgnati of Manchester; three daughters, Maryjane B. Corgnati of Manchester, Sarah C. Rohm of Seattle, WA and Emily S. Welch of Manchester; six grandchildren and a sister, Frances D. Corgnati of Amherst, MA.
IN HIS LIFE: From 1980 to 1986, Mr. Corgnati and his family lived in the Falkland Islands in service of their beloved Baha'i Faith, which he embraced in 1969 and remained a firm adherent.
