Emma Lussier

Emma L. (Hanson) Lussier, 57, of Manchester, NH died March 8, 2004 in her residence after a long battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.

Born in Saco, ME on September 9, 1946, she was the daughter of Harold and Josephine (Verrill) Hanson. She graduated from Thornton Academy in Saco in 1964. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Maine at Farmington in 1968 and a master's degree in education from Suffolk University.

Mrs. Lussier taught in the Manchester (NH) School System from 1969 to 2000. She was a very active Rainbow Girl and a life member of the Eastern Star Annette Chapter in Saco.

The family includes her husband of 35 years, Barry W. Lussier of Manchester, NH; a daughter, Bethany J. Lussier of Manchester, NH; a brother, Harold Hanson of Randolph, MA and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held Saturday May 28, 2004 at Dunbarton Congregational Church, Rte 13, Dunbarton, NH. Burial of cremated remains followed immediately at Dunbarton Center Cemetery, Dunbarton, NH
