Emmanuel J. McHugh

He was born in Boston, MA. June 25, 1934 to Patrick and Lillian (Keeping) McHugh. He attended local schools and was a graduate of St. Bernard High School in West Newton, MA. He later served in the US Army.

He enjoyed traveling, camping, boating and fishing. He especially loved spending time with his family.

He leaves two sons, Scott Briggs of Milford, NH and Brian Briggs of New Boston, NH; nine grandchildren; five brothers, William McHugh, Daniel McHugh, David McHugh, Francis McHugh and Kevin McHugh; two sisters, Rosemary McHugh, Donna Basilici and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his wife, Janice M. (Rhuland) McHugh in 2004 and by seven siblings, Patrick McHugh Jr., John McHugh, Richard McHugh, Mary Packard, Therese McHugh, Ann Marie McHugh, and Marguerite Connolly.

Burial was at the convenience of the family.
