Erin McQuaid passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, after a long illness, surrounded by the love of family and friends.
Erin had a remarkable passion for life and an unwavering love for her family and friends. A devoted Boston sports fan and music enthusiast, she was always ready to put on her signature sparkly eye shadow and red lipstick and head out to enjoy live music. She also found great joy in opening her home, cooking meals, and gathering loved ones around her table.
Those who knew Erin will remember her kind heart, gentle nature, and positive outlook. She rarely had a bad word to say about anyone or anything. Her peaceful spirit, warm smile, and genuine compassion touched everyone she met and left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Atlanta Juarez and partner Tom Boyce; her mother, Maureen McQuaid; Erin’s longtime partner, Eric Maximuk; her brother, Brendon McQuaid; her nephew, Collin McQuaid; countless friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins whose lives were enriched by knowing her.
Erin was preceded in death by her father, Hugh McQuaid.
Erin's love, laughter, and light will be deeply missed but forever remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
