Mr. Gleason was a graduate of St. Joseph High School, and Bentley College. During World War II he served in the United States Navy. He retired from the State of NH as Chief Auditor for the Legislative Budget Assistants office.
IN HIS LIFE: Surviving family members include his wife of 59 years Mary(Dubois) Gleason, of Goffstown, his children, Deborah, and her husband William Prive, of Goffstown, Michael Gleason, and his wife Barbara, of New Boston, Brian Gleason, and his wife, Maria, of Goffstown; 7 grandchildren, Kimberly, Keith, Kristen, Megan, Caitlin, Emily, Libby; 2 great grandchildren, Ryanne, Brady; 2 sisters, Pauline Wilk, of ME, Cecile Aubin, of Manchester; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday, November 12, 2009 at St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker St. Manchester.
Burial was private at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorial donations in Mr. Gleason's name can be made to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH 03054.
