Ernest A. Vaillancourt, 89, of 60 Riverfront Dr., Manchester, died December 28, 2003, at Catholic Medical Center, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Manchester, July 10, 1914, he was the son of Ernest T. and Alma (Fournier) Vaillancourt. He was a lifelong resident of this city. He had served the National Guard.
Mr. Vaillancourt worked as a machinist for Bee Bee Shoe Co. for 29 years.
He was a life member of the Rimmon Club and a member of the Mont Royal Club.
He was married to Yvette (Tremblay) Vaillancourt, who died in 1995.
Services were private.
