She was born in Nashua on May 22, 1930 to Samuel and Angelina (Tanguay) Moreau.
She served in the Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Cross for 62 years, entering in 1949 and making her final profession in 1956.
Sr. Estelle carried out culinary duties at convents of the Sisters of Holy Cross in Manchester and West Franklin, New Bedford, MA and North Grosvenordale, CT. She was assigned to St. George Manor in Manchester in 1989 where she was involved in the ministry of transportation for retired sisters.
She was transferred to Holy Cross Health Center in 2007 due to ill health.
She will be remembered for her generosity in serving others and her great devotion to Saint Brother Andre.
The family includes four sisters, Vivian Guerette and Sr. Angela Moreau, CSC both of Manchester, Julienne Cloutier of Hudson and Sr. Laurette Moreau, SJ of Sillery, Quebec; a brother, Romeo Moreau of Nashua; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, January 14, 2011 in the chapel at St. George Manor. Private burial was at St. Augustin Cemetery, Manchester.
