Esther A. Blanchette

Born in Dover on May 4, 1924, she was the daughter of Peter and Ethel (Lunk) Duffy. She grew up in Dover then lived in the North Shore area of Massachusetts many years before moving to Manchester three years ago.

Mrs. Blanchette worked as a private family caretaker for many years. She was an active communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Manchester by the Sea, MA. She was a communicant of St. Catherine Church in Manchester.

She was married to Donald J. Blanchette who died in 1988.

The family includes two children, Susan M. Blanchette of Manchester and Peter D. Blanchette of Hampton Falls, MA; a sister, Rose Parnham of Portsmouth; three brothers, Bernard Duffy of Dover, Peter Duffy of Brookfield and Robert Duffy of Rochester; cousins, nieces and nephews.

IN HER LIFE: The family also includes two grandchildren, Henri Louis Hardina-Blanchette and Chester Leo Hardina-Blanchette.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, November 8, 2008 in St. Catherine Church. After cremation, burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Manchester by the Sea, MA.
