Esther C. (Grimard) Crete, 89, of Hooksett, died unexpectedly on July 26, 2025 at Elliot Hospital.
Esther was born in Manchester on April 4, 1936 to David and Emma (Blouin) Grimard. She grew up in Goffstown then graduated from St. George High School in Manchester in 1954. She lived in Hooksett for most of her life.
Esther worked at Wageman Insurance Company in Manchester for many years and was a communicant of St. Peter’s Church in Auburn.
She enjoyed vacationing in New England, Canada, Pennsylvania and Myrtle Beach but most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends, hosting gatherings at her home.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roland G. Crete in 2017 and by her daughter, Valerie Heath in June of this year.
Esther is survived by her son, Greg Crete and his wife, Lisa; her grandson, Thomas Heath; her son-in-law, John Carlier and two brothers, Alan Grimard and William Grimard.
She found endless joy and companionship in her devoted cat, Princess, a constant source of love and comfort.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday (8/1) at 10 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church, 567 Manchester Rd., Auburn. Committal prayers will at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
