Ethel R. Fisher

Ethel R. (Britton) Fisher, 93, of Manchester died December 16, 2001 at Hanover Hill Nursing Home after a brief illness.

Born in Chicago, IL on January 2, 1908, she was the daughter of John and Gertrude (Ward) Britton. She lived in Bayside, NY for many years before moving to Manchester in 1994.

Mrs. Fisher was a graduate of Flushing Hospital Nursing School, Flushing, NY. She then worked as a registered nurse at Flushing Hospital for many years.

She was married to Augustus H. Fisher who died in 1994.

The family includes a daughter, Barbara; a son, Robert; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

There were no calling hours. Services were private.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
