Ethel B. Giles

Ethel B. (Taylor) (Clark) Giles, 90, formerly of Concord and Goffstown, died October 29, 2016 at Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen after a period of declining health.
She was born in Concord on March 21, 1926 to Harry and Jennie (Lashua) Taylor. She graduated from Concord High School and lived in Concord and Goffstown for many years.
Ethel worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield, Sprague Electric Company and the State of NH Administration Department. She retired in 1993. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary at both the American Legion 43 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars 1631. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, dancing, attending Red Sox games and going to Foxwoods Casino. She also enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Women's League at King Bowling Alley.
She was predeceased by her parents; a daughter, Linda Lee Jaworski; her first husband of 31 years, Carl Clark; her second husband of 18 years, Earl Giles; and six brothers and three sisters.
The family includes two children, Larry Clark of Rumford, ME and Lana Jean Nilges of Concord; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, November 4, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 72 S. Main St., Concord. Private burial will be at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
