She was born in St. Francois du Lac, Canada August 23, 1916 to Emanuel and Dora (Cayer) Martel. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Mrs. Bellemore was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Sodality of St. Anne.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Albert J. Bellemore, who died in 1987. She was also predeceased by a son, Leon Bellemore and by three brothers and three sisters.
Together with her husband they built a successful business known as Bellemore Heating Oils. She was famous for her baked beans, soups and large family gatherings. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and was a woman of great faith who never hesitated to offer prayers for those in need. During her lifetime Etiennette touched many lives and will be greatly missed by many saddened hearts. Her warmth, kindness, and lively spirit touched the hearts and souls of her family and friends.
She leaves four sons, Robert A. Bellemore of Bedford, Raymond P. Bellemore of Merrimack, Norman A. Bellemore of Naples, FL and Albert "Chuck" Bellemore of Manchester; three daughters, Lucille Beliveau of Palm Harbor FL, Pauline Bellemore of Dania, FL. and Dorothy Roux of Enterprise AL; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; six sisters, Desneiges Dery of Manchester, Rolande Corriveau of Jacksonville, FL, Dorothy Gagnon of Manchester, Madeleine Anderson of New Jersey, Joan Iworski and Vivian Martineau, both of Manchester; many nieces, nephews, and her caregiver, Gena Heidenreich
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, May 18, 2012 at Sacred Heart Church. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
