Eugene Aime Bournival

Eugene A. Bournival, 76, of Manchester, died April 16, 2005, at home after a long illness.

He was born December 1, 1928, the son of Ulderic and Florence (Gaudette) Bournival. He was educated in the local school system and was a graduate of Central High. He was a United States Marine.

Eugene worked at the New Hampshire Union Leader for 35 years as a pressman. Additionally, he was the past vice-president of NU Voice Club of NH, member of the American Legion, Post 79, an avid golfer and member of the Derrifield Country Club.

He enjoyed watching baseball, especially the New York Yankees. Eugene also loved woodworking, particularly building clocks and birdhouses.

Members of his family include his wife of 50 years, Patricia (Desruisseaux) Bournival of Manchester; 3 sons, Michael Bournival, Marc Bournival, and Scott Bournival of Manchester; 4 sisters, Claire Simpson of Orlando FL, Irene Jutras of Epsom NH, Lorraine Duclos of Manchester, and Diane Turnbull of Hooksett NH; 3 brothers Roger Bournival, Donald Bournival of Manchester, and Robert Bournival of Atlanta GA; 2 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A prayer service took place on Tuesday April 19, 2005.

Urn burial took place at a later date.
