Eugene A. Doucette, 69, of Hooksett died July 28, 2005 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon after a sudden illness.
Born in Franklin on April 7, 1936, he was the son of Charles and Antonia (St. Cyr) Doucette.
During the Korean War he served in the US Army.
Mr. Doucette worked as a truck driver with Associated Grocers, Dart Trucking Company and Instant Cargo Express for many years. He was a former member of the Teamsters Union Local 33.
He enjoyed camping and fishing.
IN HIS LIFE: He was a beloved husband and father, who will be missed by all who knew him.
The family includes his wife of 30 years, Mary R. (Heselton) Doucette of Hooksett; two daughters, Halie Deverell of Hooksett and Beth A. Doucette of Newington, CT; a son, Dennis E. Doucette of Holyoke, MA; five step children, Kathy Innerelli of Manchester, Sue Austin of Louisiana, Gary Palys of Manchester, Norma Smart of Berlin and Dan Palys of Allenstown; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a brother, George Doucette of Franklin; one niece and two nephews.
A funeral ceremony was held Monday August 1, 2005 in the funeral home.
