Eugene O. Ronshagen

He has lived in Londonderry NH for 24 years.

Gene served in the US Navy during the Second World War on the USS Louisville in the South Pacific as a Fire Controlman 2nd class. A graduate of Miami University he had a successful Business career highlighted by positions of financial Vice President at Dictaphone Corp. and A. B. Dick Corp. After retirement he volunteered his services with S.C.O.R.E

Gene was a member of Ansantawae Lodge 89, A.F.& A.M. and several civic organizations in Milford, CT. He was an avid sailor, USCG Captain, skier, pilot and golfer. He loved cooking and wine, playing cards, reading, traveling , watching sports and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife Judith Patrick Ronshagen . Family members include his sons James E. Ronshagen of Madison CT, John D. Ronshagen of Wichita KS, Robert A. Ronshagen of New Haven, Ct, Charles A. Ronshagen of Austin Texas and daughter Kathryn A. Gunn of Asheville, NC. He was predeceased by his daughter Diana L. Medland and leaves nine grandchildren.

The memorial service was held Wednesday, January 21, 2009 in the funeral home chapel. Urn burial took place in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, at a later date.
