Eva Mae Montembeault, 85, of Bedford, passed away peacefully August 2, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Nursing Center, after a period of declining health.
She was born in Lakeport, NH July 21, 1932 to Alfred and Emily (Stevens) Davis. She was a resident of Manchester for most of her life, but spent the last four years at Bedford Falls Senior Living Community, Bedford, NH.
Eva enjoyed her family, friends and spending time at her beach house. She had a flair for home decorating, loved antiquing and displaying her treasures. She always looked forward to mini vacations with her sisters.
Eva was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Gerard J. "Monty" Montembeault in 2007.
She was a wonderful mother and homemaker to two children; daughter Mary Grigas and fiancé Cecil Wilson of Litchfield, and son Jeffrey Montembeault and wife Dina of Manchester; three grandchildren, Stephanie Barto of Schnecksville, PA, Stacey Lewis of Nashua, and Michael Montembeault of Manchester; five great grandchildren; four sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by one brother, Alfred G. Davis, Jr.; and three sisters, Dorothy Walker, Marjorie DuBois, and Mary Crosby.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, August 11, 2017 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester, NH 03103. Committal prayers followed in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester, NH.
