Eva L. Sousa

She was born in Manchester on June 9, 1926 to Napoleon and Rosanna (Pomerleau) Lemay. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

Mrs. Sousa worked at Velcro USA in Manchester for many years. In her younger years she enjoyed roller skating. She later enjoyed bowling, swimming and crocheting.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Shirley Sousa in 2009 and by her siblings, Yvonne Pelo, Antoinette Lemay and Albert Lemay.

The family includes her husband of 64 years, John U. Sousa of Manchester; a daughter, Linda Nelson and her husband, Richard, of Clearwater, FL; three grandchildren, two step grandchildren and several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral ceremony was held on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Pine Grove Cemetery Mausoleum, Calef Road, Manchester.
