She was born in Manchester on April 28, 1910 to Joseph and Elizabeth (Fredette) Savoie and had resided in Manchester for most of her life.
She was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church.
She was educated in local schools and had worked many years as a payroll clerk for the Evangeline Shoe Co. She was also very proud to be a shoe model for the Sibulkin Shoe Company.
The family includes three daughters, Janice Speidel and her husband, Joseph, of Cedar Grove NJ, Susan Freethey and her husband, Philip, and Linda Boisvert all of Manchester; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Doris Wheeler of Johnston, RI; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Herve A. Boisvert, by her sister, Yvette Bresnahan and a brother, Raymond Savoie.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, March 17, 2012 in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 172 Belmont St. Committal prayers followed in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
