She was born in Manchester, on May 12, 1916, to John and Marie Doiron. She had been a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church.
For over 26 years Evelyn worked at the former F.W. Woolworth store. She enjoyed meticulously caring for her flower garden, taking care of her pets, and having visitors. Her family was the center of her life, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was especially grateful for her neighbors the Langton's, as well as her best friend Vi Dobbins.
Family members include her four children, Lorraine Savoie of Merrimack, Thomas Martin of Edgewater, NJ, Ronald Martin of Manchester, Linda Bourque of Manchester; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Martin in 2007.
A funeral Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, February 25, 2013 at St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester.
Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
