Faith L. Smith

January 8, 1926 — October 13, 2021

Faith L. (Blackman) Smith, 95, of Goffstown died October 13, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Born in Manchester on January 8, 1926, she was the daughter of Arthur and Ruth (Shepherd) Blackman.

In her younger years, she served on the wait staff at the original Puritan Restaurant on Elm St in Manchester. She has since worked at various local restaurants prior to her retirement from the Sheraton Wayfarer in Bedford.

Faith was a woman of deep conviction and love of the Lord. She cherished time spent with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A true lover of all people, she was affectionately known as "Grammie Faith" not only by her family, but also all others who were fortunate enough to know her. She enjoyed old fashioned hymns, especially hearing her son play the accordion, solving crossword puzzles, sipping on black coffee, and playing solitaire. She loved to laugh and cared for all of God's creatures, especially her Granddog Blue, elephants, and bird watching.

Family members include her son, David Smith and wife Carol of Goffstown; her grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson and husband Eric of Apopka, FL, Jeffrey Smith and wife Rebecca of Londonderry, Kimberly Kesselring and husband Steve of Hooksett; her beloved great-grandchildren, Aria Johnson, Maris and Micah Smith, and Hannah Faith Kesselring; several nephews and nieces.
