Fay McGuire

She was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 4, 1915 and was the daughter of Vincenzo and Santa Defalco.

Fay worked as a certified accountant for many years.

She loved the Brooklyn Dodgers and mourned when they moved to California.

Fay enjoyed spending time with her family and especially cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.

Her husband David J. McGuire predeceased her in 2009. She was also predeceased by her daughter Rose Thirkill in 2009 and two brothers, Michael and Anthony Defalco.

Family members include a son, David McGuire and his wife Madelyn of Mt. Laurel, NJ; a grandson, Mac Thirkill of Bedford, NH; three granddaughters, Caroline Thirkill of Bedford, NH; Lauren McGuire and Ashley McGuire both of Mt Laurel, NJ; three great-grandchildren, Archie, Alexander and Grace; a step- grandson, Major Julian Thirkill and his wife Katie of Australia; a step-granddaughter, Claire Thirkill of Gibraltar; and her son-in-law David Thirkill of Bedford.

A chapel service took place on Friday, December 16, 2011 in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
