Felix Salvatore Miceli

Born in Schenectady, NY on February 18, 1939, Felix was the son of "Jean" Giacomena and Salvatore S. Miceli Sr.

Felix was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps. After he completed his enlistment, he lived in New York City and chose a career in the airline industry. He was transferred to Buffalo, NY where he met his wife, Cecelia. In 1969 he joined Japan Airlines as an area sales manager. He raised his young family in Boston, MA, and later transferred to New York City retiring after 30 years with JAL.

During his years in the airline industry, Felix served as president of the Eastern Chapter of SKAL (International Association of Travel and Tourism) and PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association. He was a current member of the JAL Alumni Club of the East Coast (JAC).

He and his wife retired to Chester, NH to be near their children and grandchildren. Felix greatly enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid reader, took great pride in maintaining his home, cooking and following major sports teams. He also loved the many four legged companions he had over the years, especially Higgins and Dixie.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Cecelia (Schumacher) Miceli of Chester; his two sons, Christopher Miceli of Arlington, MA and Matthew Miceli of Manchester and Jennifer of Derry, NH; two daughters, Laura Miceli of Malden, MA and Jennifer Figueiredo and her husband, Fernando, of Plymouth, MN; his brothers, Vincent F. Miceli of Trinity, FL and Salvatore S. Miceli Jr. of Delanson, NY. He is also survived by his dear grandchildren, Sofia, Olivia and Lorenzo Miceli of Derry, NH and Sebastian Figueiredo of Plymouth, MN; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister in-law, Sharon Miceli.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, July 20, 2012 at Holy Cross Church, Derry, NH. Burial followed in Forest Hills Cemetery, Derry.
