He was born in Manchester February 24, 1921 to Zoel and Maria (Tessier) Samson.
Felix served in the United States Army from 1941 to his honorable discharge in 1945.
For over forty years he worked as a clerk for the former J.J. Moreau's Hardware store.
Felix had been a member of the former St. Theresa parish. As a member he was active in the St. Vincent de Paul society, and served as a Eucharistic minister, alter server, as well as an usher.
IN HIS LIFE:Family members include 2 daughters, Annette Lemay, Claudette Myers, both of Manchester; a son, Felix Samson,of Warren; 7 grandchildren, Louise, Nicole, Melanie, Marc, Jason, Anna, Thomas; 7 great grandchildren; Nicholas, Mariah, Michael, Sarah, Daniel, James, Theresa; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his wife Doris (Cote) Samson in 1997.
A funeral Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, December 31, 2010 at Blessed Sacrament Church 14 Elm St. Manchester.
Burial took place at St. Augustin Cemetery, Beech St. Manchester
Flowers are to be omitted.
