He served in the United States Air Force. He was well liked and had traveled the world several times. He tried to find humor in all that he did. Ferdinand, recognized the hardships of others, and tried to help out when he could. He was charitable to a fault, with a strong sense of faith. Ferdinand will be remembered as a very knowledgeable person that through his experiences gave his children a bigger world.
Family members include his children, Lori Mitchell, of WA, John Mitchell, of Manchester; his siblings, Anne Schmidt, of CT, Myra Pastore, of FL, Rody Gratton, of PA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; his best friend, Dan Hirsch, of London, England.
A funeral Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, January 6, 2012 at St. Pius X church, Candia Rd. Manchester, NH.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
